Windows 8 metro interface for your iPhone

You can check out the look and feel of Microsoft's Windows 8 Metro interface on your iPhone thanks to a new DreamBoard theme called Metroon available on Cydia.

The Metroon theme can be enabled via the DreamBoard jailbreak app. The theme is quite feature rich. It comes with a Windows Phone-like lock screen, start screen, notifications, volume controls and the swipe up to unlock feature.

The theme also brings the Charms bar to the iPhone, which can be activated when you swipe from the right-side of the screen. It gives you quick access to the Settings and Spotlight search.

You can switch to the iOS Home screen by tapping on the Desktop tile. You can press the Home button to switch back to the Windows 8 user interface.

Tapping on the tiles on the start screen launches the default iOS app. For example: tapping on the Internet Explorer tile launches mobile Safari.

The theme also brings the Live tiles feature, which displays real-time information from some of the apps running in the background. You can swipe down on the tile to turn off or on the live tile feature as well as to change the size and position of the tile or unpin (remove) the tile from the Start screen.

You can also customize the colors and backgrounds.

Enjoy:-) and as always please... Any questions or interests feel free to comment , tweet me @ichuckydee or e-mail me ichuckydee6885@gmail.com
