JAILBREAK IOS 6 BETA 4 WITH 5.1.1 (CURRENT) REDSNOW

Apple unleashed iOS 6 beta 4 this afternoon with several minor changes and the glaring omission of the stock YouTube app. iOS 6 is expected to make its public debut this fall alongside the next iPhone, but for now the software is entrusted to the hands of the developer community.
Those who know what they’re doing will be pleased to know that iOS 6 beta 4 can be jailbroken with the current version of the popular RedSn0w tool.
iPhone Dev Team hacker and frontman MuscleNerd confirmed that the current version of RedSn0w (0.9.13 dev 3) on Mac and Windows will in fact jailbreak iOS 6 beta 4. Just make sure you point RedSn0w at the iOS 6 beta 3 IPSW file.
This jailbreak is tethered, and it’s even more limited than normal because Cydia won’t even be installed. (If you would like to learn how to install cydia via SSH, just refer to my earlier blogs.)
Jailbreaking the iOS 6 beta is for developers who want to update their Cydia packages for the new OS and test compatibility. The rest of us will have to wait for a stable, public release in the coming months.
